Adventuring Parties

CHARACTERS

Overview

Tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons are growing faster than ever, bringing people together to tell stories, role play, and world build. Players spend countless hours living in these roles, having a visual representation of their character allows them and their party to connect more deeply with the experience. These visuals capture the heart of the hobby, celebrating individual imagination and the collective magic of the table.

Approach

I interview each player to learn about their character’s background, motivations, powers, quirks, physical traits and equipment. This is translated into a design that feels true to their vision and grounded in the world they are building. Whether for a single adventurer or an entire party, I develop a tangible piece of the magic they have been creating with their fellow players.

Results

The finished illustrations become keepsakes of the stories told at the table, help players deepen immersion in the game, and bring something imagined into reality. This approach can expand into to other collaborative hobbies and creative communities where people want to see their ideas, avatars, or alter egos realized in a visual and magical way.
