I designed the album artwork and layout for Mookie Island, a concept record by math rock band Sea Monkey See. Inspired by the album’s playful narrative and dense, progressive sound, the visual language draws from old-timey maps and Terry Gilliam’s absurdist storytelling. The artwork was fully collaged from hand-cut shapes and lettering, bright, tactile, and imperfect, capturing both the band’s technical precision and their punk-inspired, chaotic energy.
