Overview
I was brought on as the lead presentation designer for IMAX’s 2025 Investor Day. Working with creative leads and senior executives I translated complex business, financial, and strategic information into a comprehensive, investor-facing narrative. My role blended design, storytelling, and high-level communication into a compelling, polished deck built to inspire confidence that was shown on a state of the art IMAX screen.
Challenge
Each department brought a large volume of dense and varied information, from financial projections to market performance, partner insights, and global strategies. Each department leader brought unique content needs, levels of design fluency, and communication styles. The challenge was to create a unified presentation that felt visually seamless, strategically aligned, and accessible to investors without sacrificing detail or accuracy, while adapting the entire presentation to the unique demands of a full-sized IMAX screen.
Approach
I collaborated directly with senior executives and their teams, translating creative notes, complex data and technical content into clear visuals built specifically for IMAX’s immersive format. This required precise organization, iterative collaboration, and ongoing refinement through rehearsals and content reviews. I developed design solutions that maintained clarity and impact when projected at monumental scale, ensuring a smooth, unified story across all presenters.
Results
The final presentation delivered a confident and cohesive message that supported IMAX leadership during a milestone investor event. By optimizing content for the IMAX screen, the deck strengthened investor understanding and engagement in IMAX’s unique place in technology and entertainment sectors. IMAX’s stock rose following the event, reflecting the strength of the content and the clarity of the story we presented.
