Overview
I was commissioned to design a logo for 10000 Elephants, a subsidiary of Legendary East. The goal was to establish a distinct internal identity while staying aligned with Legendary’s global brand. The creative brief called for a minimalistic elephant mark that conveyed sophistication, charm and the perspective of international partners in a way that felt timeless and approachable.
Approach
I explored multiple stylized directions to tie the elephant symbol into Legendary Entertainment’s established brand language. The design strategy focused on balancing grandeur with charm in form, resulting in a character forward brand mark. Metallic tones inspired by the full-color Legendary logo were integrated for cohesion and polish, while a red secondary palette was developed to reinforce cultural resonance and versatility across applications.








Results
The final mark captured both the magnificence and accessibility outlined in the brief. Its refined shape paired with textural and color finishes gave it flexibility across formats, while maintaining visual harmony with Legendary’s corporate identity. The logo was well-received by department heads and international marketing VPs.
