I created the cover design for Eres, including artwork, title treatment, and final layout for publication. The artwork emphasizes themes of romance, power, and transformation, balancing market readability with a distinct, illustrative style.
Approach
Concepts explored both symbolic and character-driven compositions, from visual metaphors to direct depictions of Adrian and Daemous that emphasize their shifting power dynamic. The final design blends these ideas: Adrian’s submissive posture and his luminous beauty are in contrast to the menacing symbolism of Daemous’s dominance. The composition focuses on the eroticism and the peril of their bond. Lettering was rooted in classical fantasy with a bold, masculine edge, and finished with a luminous effect, embodying the spirit of both characters while ensuring strong legibility.
