PROJECT ONE
Eres: The All-Mighty Universe Book One
Overview
An angelic prince succumbs to his attraction to a dark king. Will he find a home in the Land of the Dead? Will the demonic king look past duty and develop true romantic feelings for his gentle consort? Discover their fate in Eres, the first book of The All-Mighty Universe series. I created the cover design for Eres, including artwork, title treatment, and final layout for publication. The artwork emphasizes themes of romance, power, and transformation, balancing market readability with a distinct, illustrative style.
Approach
Concepts explored both symbolic and character-driven compositions, from visual metaphors to direct depictions of Adrian and Daemous that emphasize their shifting power dynamic. The final design blends these ideas: Adrian’s submissive posture and his luminous beauty are in contrast to the menacing symbolism of Daemous’s dominance. The composition focuses on the eroticism and the peril of their bond. Lettering was rooted in classical fantasy with a bold, masculine edge, and finished with a luminous effect, embodying the spirit of both characters while ensuring strong legibility.

PROJECT TWO
Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World
Overview
This project reimagines Aldous Huxley’s classic Brave New World for a contemporary special edition. Illustrated in a flat, graphic style with a limited palette, the artwork reflects the novel’s themes of industrial progress and manufactured utopia. The layout includes a title treatment and full book sleeve design for hardcover and paperback.
Approach
The design layers a chaotic industrial cityscape over a clean, futuristic skyline, confined within heavy smoke that frames the composition. This visual contrast echoes the novel’s tension between progress and decay, control and chaos. The design’s limited color, and bold framing devices, and stark visual contrast embodies the novel’s legacy as both a celebration and critique of modernity.
